10 Years of Magpie’s Nest

Another new year, and this one is a milestone year for us at the Nest! 2023 will be our 10th year in business. I opened the shop back in 2013 selling, handbags, gifts and accessories in a tiny shop on the square. (Currently its a Greek chippy!!) There have been some real highs and lows on the businesses journey. However I have loved it all, I have learnt so much about retailing and I have met some wonderful people along the way. There is a great set of “birds” who all work here, and who are all just as passionate about the shop and café as I am, its like a family. As the business enters it’s 10th year, we have got loads of exciting things planned and I can’t wait to share them with you all as each part unfolds. For now though I wanted to just thank you all for your support of the Nest, and here is to the next 10 years!!
