Say it with Flowers this Valentines

Love is in the air, as next week its Valentines Day. A day celebrating love, for me its has become even more special as last year I married my Mr Magpie on Valentines day. Some would say this was really romantic, those who know me well will know its because I have a shockingly bad memory for dates. By having your wedding on a day all about love means I wont struggle to remember our wedding anniversary! (Who said romance was dead eh!) This also has ensured that Mr Magpie will have to get me a nice thoughtful gift each Valentines day so supermarket flowers wont cut it! ha ha  ( Just to note, I love flowers but go to a florist, put some effort and thought into buying them and support a small business that values your custom.)

I also don’t think Valentines should just be about couples – why don’t we give a little token to our friends, our family to remind them that we love them too? My friends this year will be getting a daft little Valentines gift, because our friendship is special and I love them and on a day that celebrates love, I think its the perfect opportunity to remind them:)
