This year, we have reimagined our traditional service to create a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea that is built around three simple but powerful words: Love, Thanks, and Her. Our lounge will be transformed into a serene, floral-filled sanctuary, offering a peaceful escape where you can slow down and truly connect with those who matter most.
The journey begins with a curated selection of sandwiches, each thoughtfully designed to reflect our seasonal theme. Savour the “Love” sandwich, featuring honey-glazed ham with wholegrain mustard mayo; the “Thanks” sandwich, comprising mature cheddar and sweet small-batch pickle; and the “Her” sandwich, a refreshing combination of herbed cream cheese Salmon and cucumber. Following the savouries, you will enjoy a fruit scone, served traditionally with clotted cream and a luxury strawberry and champagne preserve.
The experience concludes with our signature Botanical Sweet Selection. This range of handcrafted delicacies includes a rose petal shortbread, a homemade lavender and vanilla cheesecake, mini passion fruit tart and macaron. Each sweet treat has been designed to mirror the floral aesthetic of our gift shop located just downstairs.
