Catch up on the latest goings on, and plans from the Nest
Welcome to our first “new” news letter! We always listen to your feedback, and we know that some of your really enjoy reading our emails and blogs that are a little more “newsy” so we have taken this on board and will now be sending you a monthly round up of what we have been getting up to in the nest.
We will aim to send this to you once a month usually in the first week of the month. We will still keep you up to date with our weekly emails and blogs about products, but this will be a bit more about the nest, rather than the products.
So with out further ado, I had best crack on with June’s news!
As you may know we have got some lovely father’s day gifts in stock, some quality products that are useful. I find buying gifts for menfolk in general quite hard. It would seem I am not alone, in this dilemma. So we have decided to make the male magpies feel more at home in the nest, and keep the men’s gift ware section in store permanently. We will be adding to this over the months, so if you are after anything specific do mention it when your next in the store.
We are also looking for customers who would like to write a mini review about a product they have purchased from the nest. We are looking for about 250 words, and a picture of you and your product. We will feature these reviews on line we just think it will be nice to let you hear from someone other than me about our products. If you would like to send us a review, please email it to email@example.com.
We are also busy with the Pride of Tameside Business Awards, which we are judging the entries for this years Start up Business Award. Its really exciting reading the entries and its great to see people investing and starting new business in Tameside. This month has also seen the launch of the national Small Business Saturday Campaign, which we are delighted to be officially involved with this year as local ambassador for this campaign. We are busy working with other businesses to help promote small businesses in Tameside on the “big” small business day.
The Magmobile had a warm welcome when we went to Carrbrook Whit Friday band contest last week. This month we will be out and about in Nesta, at the Stalybridge Farmers Market on 14th June, and you might also spot her debut in the Stalybridge carnival on the 28th June.
There is also a boat gathering taking place in Stalybridge in the square on the Saturday 27th June, which we of course will be supporting. It should be a busy weekend in Stalybridge, so make a note in your diaries.
There are aerial displays from the Sea cadets planned on the Saturday.. so there maybe 2 nests in the square that weekend. A magpies and a crows nest!
On the Sunday 28th June there will be a craft market on in Armentieres Square, so do make sure you come on down to Stalybridge there will be lots going on. We will be open on both days as usual. Lets hope the sun is shining and if its not you know where you can get a decent brolly from!
