A Merry Magpie Christmas.

Hello all.

We here at Magpie’s Nest are so excited for Christmas, some of us have even started humming the classic festive tunes in the shop! I could even point out a couple of assistants with noses like Rudolph, although, I feel that may not entirely be Christmas related.

But even though we can’t wait for the decorations to go up, the mulled wine to be poured, and the turkey to be roasting in the oven as we sit around the tree and open our presents, we know it’s a way off yet.

However, we have started filming for our Christmas video. We have most of the cast in place, but are still looking for the perfect child to star in “A Merry Magpie Christmas.” Because we have had lots of interest in the role, with the mini stars and starlets of Stalybridge telling us why they would be perfect for the job, we have decided to get you, the parents, to send in a video of your child acting out a scene from their favourite film. 5 lucky children will then be invited to the Nest on Wednesday 19th October, to audition further, and speak with the Magpie Media team regarding availability, and filming.

Magpie’s Nest has plenty in store for you before December reaches us. We have our evenings of Bingo, and quizzes, themed nights, special discounts, and promotions in the shop and cafe, and much, much more that I need to save for another post.
