What a weekend! Our hearts (and our shop & coffee lounge!) are absolutely full after such a wonderful Mother’s Day. It was a joy to see so many families gathered together, toast to the incredible women in their lives, and explore the new spring treasures in the gift shop.
Whether you picked up a hand-poured candle or joined us for a slice of cake, thank you for making our busy weekend so special. The atmosphere was buzzing, and it reminded us exactly why we love what we do—creating a space for community, celebration, and a little bit of luxury.

As the spring air starts to feel just a little bit warmer, we are turning our sights toward the Mediterranean. We are thrilled to announce the first of our 2026 Tapas Nights, and we’re kicking things off with a vibrant Spanish Fiesta!
Escape to Spain for the Evening
On Saturday 28th March, we are transforming our space into a rustic Spanish bodega. Forget the drizzle outside; we’re bringing the soul of Seville and the colours of Barcelona right to your table.
What to expect:
- The Flavors: Think smoky Pimentón, rich Valencian citrus, and the finest olive oils. Liz has been busy perfecting a menu of authentic tapas—from classic cazuelas of sizzling garlic prawns to artisanal Manchego and Iberico ham.
- The Vibe: We are transforming the coffee lounge with a little Magpie Magic to give it a nice Spanish feel.
- The Sips: It wouldn’t be a Spanish night without a signature Sangria and perhaps a crisp Sherry to start the evening.
